The Essential Guide to Running is a joint project from a team of Run Leeds writers, the aim of which is to bring you everything you need to know about running, across two parts.
This part takes on the challenge of detailing the fundamental basics every new runner needs, and it goes wider than running itself.
Part one will cover the foundation of running for any beginner, including; technique, gear, nutrition, goal setting and the social benefits.
