Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Set to Launch New Run Club

Ben Fraser

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are launching their first ever running club!

The Foundation are working with Run Leeds to provide an opportunity for people to get active by joining the first ever YCF running club, led by a team of UK athletic qualified run leaders.

The club will be informal and sociable, adaptable to your needs; whether that may be getting outside in the fresh air, or catching up with some new friends, or even setting a goal to work towards!

Run Leaders will be on hand to share in their knowledge of running in a relaxed and friendly environment – expect lots of laughs, plenty of games and challenges all thrown into the mix!

The club will run for a 10 week period, starting from Wednesday 18th May and will be held every Wednesday from 6:15pm, ready for a 6:30pm start.

A home has been set aside in the cricket centre for the new club, with ample facilities to change and freshen up post and pre-run.

For just £10 you will be able to book your place on the 10 session programme with lots of exclusive benefits laid on by YCF in return.

Upon joining you will get a free running club t-shirt and head band and also free match tickets to one of Yorkshire County Cricket Clubs games.

For anyone seeking some new running gear (run shoes to match the new top and headband anyone?) Up & Running Headingley have kindly offered members of the YCF running club a 15% discount to be used in store on any full priced items throughout the 10 week period.

All that is left is to set aside your time and book your limited place using the contact details below!

*Members must attend 7/10 sessions to qualify for free match tickets
