Atalanta races are very excited to bring you the first ever women’s only races here in the heart of West Yorkshire.
Hebden Bridge is the focal point for all our events with its many years of history, amazing scenery and the warmest welcome in the country, we know you will love the races as much as we do.
We are starting off our racing calendar on May 28th with the inaugural Atalanta 5 and 10k races, both events are female only allowing you the freedom to participate in the sport you love.
Atalanta Races namesake is Inspired by Greek Mythology.
Atalanta was, a swift-footed huntress. She offered to marry anyone who could outrun her.
She only lost one race, because Hippomenes dropped 3 golden apples and she stopped to pick them up.
