Covid-19 Exercise Guidance

Running Guidance

Following the UK Government announcement on 4th January we are now in a national lockdown.

What does this currently mean for running groups and clubs?

As a result of the lockdown rules non elite individuals can:

    • Exercise outside of their home in a local public space, whilst not traveling outside of the local area.
    • Exercise outside once a day
    • Exercise alone or with people they live with
    • Exercise with a support bubble
    • Or exercise with one other person from another household

Following the Government announcement on Monday 22nd February and details of the roadmap, organised club running can return from 29th March, and unorganised (un-coached) running can take place in groups of 6.

Until then please still follow the rules as above.

More information can be found on the England Athletics website, but please get in touch with us if you need clarification.
