Bramley Falls

LS13 1EX

Distance: 6.82km

Description

Starting from The Abbey Inn on Pollard Lane you’ll take the gated road opposite and after just over 1k you’ll hit the canal. Crossing over at the locks you’ll climb the steps in the woods and turn immediately right at the top of them. Follow the trail through the woods until you meet the next set of locks and cross back over the canal. Turn left on the canal and follow the towpath for approx 2k where you’ll meet Rodley Nature Reserve and a bridge across the canal. Cross the bridge and turn left and follow the road up to Leeds and Bradford Rd where you’ll turn left again. A short flat follows and you’ll take a final left turn at the Acorn pub and finish with a near 1k downhill stretch back to the Abbey Inn where a well deserved beverage can be had!

This route is only suitable in daylight or for those adventurous ones with a head torch!
Why not a take in wander round Rodley Nature Reserve where a cheap cup of tea and biscuits can be had in-between checking the wildlife out.
